Privacy policy

We develop powered land. We are not in the data business. This page says plainly what we collect on energy.llc, why, and what we never do with it.

What we collect

• What you send us. If you use a form on this site, we receive what you type: your name, contact details, company, where your land is, and your message. We use it to respond to you. That is the whole purpose.
• Counting, without cookies. We count page views and button clicks with our own first-party system. It stores no cookies, no IP addresses, and no identifiers of any kind. It cannot recognize you and we cannot connect it to you.
• Analytics cookies, only if you say yes. If we have an analytics service (such as Google Analytics) enabled, it loads only after you accept it on the cookie banner. Decline and it never loads. You can change your choice any time via the Cookies link in the footer.

What we never do

• We do not sell your personal information. Not to anyone, not ever.
• We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
• We do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us. No list, no drip.

Text messages (SMS)

• Opt-in only. We send text messages only to people who opt in themselves, by texting our number first or telling us in writing that they want text updates. What we send and how to stop is described in our SMS messaging terms.
• We never share it. No mobile information, phone number, or SMS opt-in consent is shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone.
• What we collect for messaging. Your phone number and your opt-in, so we can send the notifications you asked for and honor STOP and HELP requests. We use it for that and nothing else.
• Stop any time. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or email matt@energy.llc.

Where your information lives

Form submissions are transmitted securely and stored with our hosting provider (Netlify) and delivered to the two founders by email. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.

Your choices and rights

• Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email matt@energy.llc and we will handle it promptly.
• Depending on where you live (including California and the EU), these choices may also be legal rights. We honor them either way.
• Decline analytics cookies and the site works exactly the same.
