He came to development from the field.
The DIY Solar Company, which he founded and led as President, built solar, battery storage and generator projects and connected them to the power grid. That work taught him what a project needs to reach operation, and what holds one back.
His work has also reached into environmental initiatives and regulatory collaboratives, where regulators, utilities and industry work through the rules together.
At Energy.LLC he leads the development of our sites: industrial land and buildings carried through power, permitting and the town's approvals for the data center and energy operators who lease or buy them. He also leads the capital behind that work and our relationships with those operators.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and is based in Boston.
He knows the power grid from the installer's side.
